Damage is set at 100-to150-thousand dollars in a house fire in Napanee.
No one was injured but the family’s cat was lost in the blaze at a home at the corner of Simcoe and Thomas Streets yesterday.
Acting Fire Chief Ian Shetler says the fire broke out in the family’s garage, and it spread to the house..
Shetler said the family may be able to salvage some belongings from the front part of the house. The investigation into the cause is continuing.
