Belleville’s police department may be coming up with something new in its arsenal to fight impaired driving.
Chief Cory Mcmullan gave a hint during a media scrum following today’s Police Service’s Board meeting. She says impaired drivers are a serious concern and the department is working with Operation Red Nose and the RIDE program to discourage impaired driving. Chief McMullan says she’ll have more to say about the traffic unit once the business plan is completed in the new year.
