Prince Edward County has given it’s blessing to ongoing efforts to have provincial grant money allocated toward planning for an integrated health services center at Prince Edward Memorial Hospital. Mayor Leo Finnegan says Graham Scott, the supervisor of Quinte Healthcare, is supporting the proposal. QHC and the Prince Edward Health Alliance hope the Minister of Health and Long Term Care will allow about 600 thousand dollars to plan a “one stop, wide ranging” health service in the County.
