Belleville Police have arrested a 29-year old city resident after a violent domestic assault resulting in serious facial injuries to a woman. Officers responded, late Saturday afternoon, to a number of 911 calls to an east end housing complex for a disturbance. Police found the woman with serious cuts and a man with injuries. Both victims were taken by ambulance to BGH. Police arrested Robert Wilder last night. Charges of assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm are pending.
