The Campbellford man trying to recreate the community’s Aron Theatre is impressed with the community’s response.
Russ Christianson organized a meeting this week to discuss the future of the facility, whose owners want to retire.
He says 180 people signed up a commitment for membership in a non-for-profit cooperative at the Aron.
The theatre has not only shown movies over the many years it has been open, but has also featured live music and other entertainment.
