Lots of applicants, but only one was chosen. The Stirling Festival Theatre has hired a new Managing Director. She is Claudia Staines, from the Owen Sound area. Claudia Staines will begin her new position November 27th. She has some legal, broadcasting, and communications, as well as extensive experience with theatre. Staines will replace Caroline Smith, who held two jobs in Stirling, the Managing Director, and Artistic Director. The first job for Claudia Staines will be hiring a technical, and, an artistic director. An open house is planned for the theatre on January 5th.
