As usual, there’ll be free parking in downtown Trenton for the month of December to help people get their Christmas shopping done. However, this December, those who wish can still put money into the Trenton parking meters…but all of the money collected will go to the Hastings Prince Edward Learning Foundation, a charitable organization, that, among other things, provides breakfasts, snacks, and lunches to school children throughout the region. The organization served almost 119 thousand kids in Quinte West alone last year.
