Shannon Langridge took top prize in the cabbage division of the giant vegetables competition at this year’s Royal Agricultural Winter Fair.
The 14-year-old says she’s not only proud of her win, but the veggies she grows are pretty tasty. She says in just her second year of growing giant veggies, she’s learned a lot.
Langridge is part of the Prince Edward County 4H Club for Giant Pumpkins and Vegetables.
The Royal Winter Fair wraps up in Toronto this afternoon (SUN).
