Getting the flu shot is getting easier for children.
Ontario’s top medical official says the province is ready to begin the next phase of H1N1 vaccinations… and it will include some school clinics.
Doctor Arlene King says beginning next week, children 13 and under can get their swine flu shots at doctors’ offices and public health clinics.
As well, students in Kawartha Pine Ridge District will be one of the few regions in the province where elementary students will be offered their flu shot at school.
The health unit confirmed the school clinics yesterday (FRI).
There is no word yet on school vaccination clinics for students in Hastings and Prince Edward Counties.
