Police are still investigating how a 28-year old man came to be in the Bay of Quinte early yesterday morning. The unidentified man was spotted by two fishermen clinging to a concrete pier at the base of the Norris Whitney Bridge just before 1 o’clock yesterday morning. He was rescued by firefighters and taken to hospital by ambulance, but went into cardiac arrest. Efforts to revive him were unsuccessful.
