It was a day of graphic testimony at the Michelle Barnoski murder trial. The Northumberland News reports the jury heard testimony from a forensic expert who concluded Barnoski died from eight gunshot wounds to the head and neck. He described a number of other injuries including blunt force trauma to the back of the head and broken bones in her hands and arm. He says the victim was wrapped in a Harry Potter blanket and comforter and buried in the backyard of her Warkworth home. The jury also heard from a neighbor who reported hearing a gunshot in late May of last year from her Concession Street home. A 16-year old boy is on trial for the first degree murder.
