A criminal investigation has begun into a suspicious fire that injured two men at an Ontario Housing Complex near downtown Trenton.
The men suffered minor burns to their hands, arms and faces in the blaze at 13 Kent Street last evening, and were admitted to Trenton Hospital.
Quinte West Fire Chief John Whalen says there was 85-thousand dollars damage, and two investigators from the Ontario Fire Marshall’s Office have joined the O-P-P in the investigation.
Police say the fire was of a criminal nature, but aren’t releasing any other details. Both men will be questioned about the cause..
