A former Napanee man accused of bilking seniors out of hundreds of thousands of dollars will stand trial next year.
Forty-five-year-old Robert Lovelock was given the June trial date in Napanee Superior Court.
He was charged by the O-P-P with seven counts of fraud over five-thousand dollars after being arrested on an outstanding warrant while trying to cross the border from Canada into the United States on May 27th.
Police say a man who acted as an accountant and financial advisor from the late 1990’s to the spring of 2008 sold elderly victims nonexistent investment products.
