It didn’t last long. Tough economic times have claimed a small plant in Belleville.
Rice processor, ANR Foods, closed the doors on it’s 38 thousand square foot facility last Friday. The company is in receivership, effecting some 10 employees.
ANR Foods, which was located on Jamieson Bone Road, opened recently, in June of last year.
The company, originally from Pakistan, has 2 other plants, one in Sweden, and another in Alberta, which are said to be also closing.
