Plans to decorate Belleville’s Market Square for Christmas are on hold again. City Council decided yesterday to postpone the plans after rejecting a 60-thousand dollar proposal two weeks ago. Mayor Neil Ellis says he wants the community to get involved in the project. Meanwhile, the large Christmas tree will light up the Market Square…and, some of the 60-thousand in the budget will be used to refurbish the Foster family decorations which will be put up at the Tom Gavey Alemite Park in time for the Christmas season.
