The Campellford Legion is giving the community a chance to honour soldiers of the past and present early this year..the night before Remembrance day. Tomorrow evening’s events start with a parade forming at the Legion at 6:30… followed by a candle-lit march to the cenotaph where the candles will be placed as part of a special service. If you’re looking to honour a family member who served in the armed services, or to pay tribute to others..you can sponsor a candle for a minimum donation of $5. Cadets will take turns throughout the night guarding the flame until the Remembrance Day service at 11 a.m.
