In an effort to curb crowds at emergency rooms due to the flu… the Prince Edward Family Health Team is holding an assessment Clinic at Prince Edward Square in Rossmore.
Spokesperson Duff Sprague says family doctors and registered nurses will be on hand to assess symptoms.
The Health team is asking people not to go to Q-H-C emergency rooms unless their symptoms include severe difficulty breathing, an extended fever or chest pain.
The clinic is open today (SUN) from 10am until 2pm… and tomorrow evening from 5pm until 8pm.
