It’s quiet on the wind turbine front in Prince Edward County these days, but the issue is still on the front burner.
Last night, Mayor of Prince Edward County, Leo Finnegan told Council that MPP Leona Dombrowsky is setting up a meeting between the County and the MInister of Energy, George Smitherman.
Mayor Finnegan hopes the meeting will result in a made in Prince Edward solution to where industrial wind turbines are eventually located. The Mayor says it’s inevitable that some turbines will be coming to the County.
