The Haliburton-Kawartha Pine Ridge Health Unit has released dates for it’s first H1N1 clinics which will serve 8 thousand high-risk residents.
The province is sequencing the vaccine to make sure those who are at the highest risk get immunized first.
High risk residents include… anyone with chronic medical conditions under 65…Pregnant women…. healthy children from six months to five years old…. People living in remote and isolated communities… and Any health care workers involved in pandemic response.
The closest High-Risk clinic will be held in Cobourg on Thursday October 29th from 1-6pm, at the Cobourg Lions Centre.
Second phase clinic dates will be announced when they’re booked.
