Quinte West Mayor John Williams hopes the new health minister will act on his request for a meeting to discuss Quinte Health Care.
Williams wrote Deb Matthews last week, only a week after she replaced David Caplan, who resigned over the e-health scandal.
The Mayor requested a meeting with Health Ministry officials in February to discuss, among other things, the Trenton hospital separating from Q-H-C, and says it’s unacceptable he hasn’t received a response.
Williams also expects Ontario Conservative health critic Christine Elliott to bring the issue up in the legislature.
