Two cases of swine flu have already been reported in Northumberland County and another in Hastings-Prince Edward…..as the first shipments of Canada’s H-1-N-1 vaccine are being sent out. A federal official says local authorities will have immediate access to the vaccine once it gets Ottawa’s approval….that could happen as early as this week. Canada’s public health agency has said the rollout of the vaccine would begin in early November. The local cases of swine flu have reportedly been very mild.
