Three shoplifters at the Belleville Walmart store are facing additional charges after a thorough check by City Police. The trio were arrested by store security, at 5 o’clock yesterday afternoon,but the responding officer didn’t believe the names provided and were lodged in the cells. When their true identities were revealed a 23 year old Havelock man was also charged with obstructing Police. A further check revealed that he was wanted by Peterborough OPP for an assault earlier in the day. He was turned over to an OPP escort team. All three were charged with theft.
