A Quinte area company has won the job of of extending McDonald Drive in Picton. The work will include sanitary sewer and water mains. Build All Construction of Deseronto will do the project, with a low bid of 457 thousand dollars. Meanwhile, Prince Edward County Council has voted to apply for funding to pay most of an over 5 million dollar list of road and sewer projects. The County will apply for connecting link funding from the province, for work on Main Street in Picton, and on Main Street in Bloomfield. The work would be done over 5 years.
