Brighton residents should be on the lookout for two men posing as water heater inspectors.
A woman called Northumberland O-P-P after two men, both about 60 years old, asked her if they could see the heater’s expiry date.
The men were wearing flourescent vests and orange hard hats, and even though they didn’t produce any identification, she let them into the house.
Nothing was stolen, but police advise people not to let someone they don’t know into their homes.
