A young Picton man has been sentenced to one year in a reformatory for his role in the stabbing death of 21 year Kevin Monroe in Picton in September of last year.
25 year old Bradley Miller had already spent one year in custody, and also received a lifetime weapons prohibition, 3 years probation, and must provide a sample to the DNA bank.
Miller, who pled guilty to aggravated assault, after first being charged with 2d degree murder, was sentenced in Picton today(yesterday).
Meanwhile, the Crown is appealing the 2 years less a day sentence given to 20 year old Daniel Thompson who pled guilty to manslaughter in the same stabbing incident.
