The Crowe Valley Conservation Authority board would like to reactivate the authority foundation.
The non-profit group, which has been dormant for a number of years, was discussed at last week’s board meeting.
General Manager Tim Pidduck says the authority has missed some funding opportunities because of the absence of the foundation..
He says one example of the benefits of the foundation was the donation about ten years ago of private land to the authority, allowing the establishment of the McGeachie Conservation Area, south of Bancroft.
