Belleville Councillor Bob Dolan is ticked off again with Hastings County Council. It’s members ignored a request from Belleville regarding its emergency response vehicles. The City asked the county to put “logs” in the SUV’s, tracking their use after Dolan complained they were being taken home by supervisors, one north of Napanee and another in Kingston. He says it’s time for the city to take another look at its joint services agreements…adding the county has the smaller financial stake in the emergency, long term care, and social services, but has the most control. A Hastings County report says the supervisors only take the S-U-Vs home when on call.
