Belleville is taking steps to further streamline it’s process for approving developments in the city. Last spring, local builders made known their concerns in a city survey….the main one being the red tape at city hall. Administrator steve Hyndman says thi includes the mechanics of submitting an application and the review process. Hyndman says it’s important to continue to look at the way things are done and work out a fresh approach. The city has hired a consultant to help do that.
