It was a thrilling day for young hockey players in Wellington yesterday….as the Prince Edward County Kings Bantams made their Hockey Night in Canada debut. The Kings were winners of Hockey Night’s “Get Called Up” contest and will be featured in this weekend’s pre-game show. Player Taylor Thompson says no words could described his excitement when he found out his team had won. The Kings are one of 26 teams being selected to intro the show this season. You can catch the Kings on Saturday night for the Maple Leafs-Red Wings game.
