A prank call to a “Prayer Line” in Texas resulted in a visit to a Belleville home by City Police. The “Prayer Line” received a message from a man who said he had just killed his children and police in Texas were contacted…..they contacted Toronto Police who eventually tracked down the caller in Belleville’s north-end. City Police and the tactical team went to the home, at 10:30 last night, and the sheepish homeowner admitted he had been drinking and was frustrated with the message the prayer line was delivering on TV. He was cautioned and advised that further phone calls would result in criminal charges.
