Residents of Milford, south of Picton, don’t want to lose a bridge over the Milford pond.
The Scott’s Mill bridge is in very poor condition, and would cost a lot to repair, so Prince Edward County wants to close and remove it, or replace it with a single-lane structure.
Project Manager Joe Angelo says about thirty people attended an open house at the Milford Town Hall, and they all said they want a new bridge…
He says further study is planned on the issue before a final decision is made.
