It shocked early morning commuters on the 4-0-1 in Quinte more than two years ago. and, finally an arrest has been made in connection with the carjacking and shooting. Two Montreal men were stopped in the westbound lanes near Aikens Road by two men in another car, on June 13th, 2007 and the passenger was shot in the stomach. The suspects took off in the victim’s vehicle which turned up a few days later at a carpool lot on the 4-0-1. William Nolan of Brampton has been arrested by the OPP and charged with robbery with a firearm….he has a bail hearing in Belleville today. The victim recovered from the gunshot wound.
