Some fallout from the recent Havelock Country Jamboree.
Round Lake Cottagers Association representative Chris Cummings told Havelock-Belmont-Methuen Township council people at the mid-August event, charged for shower facilities, overran the lake and Belmont Lake.
He said over one-hundred people showed up at the boat launches at Round Lake each morning, and some used soaps and detergents to wash in the water.
The association was also concerned about people drinking and partying after leaving their vehicles parked along the road into the lake, and Reeve Ron Gerow said the complaints will be discussed with Jamboree organizers and the O-P-P..
