This year’s Quinte Exhibition is really turning back the clock. Belleville Agricultural Society president Doug Rollins says every student in the city’s elementary schools will be given a free pass to the Quinte Ex. Rollins says back when he was a kid they used to get the free pass at school. He says it adds a little incentive for the children to bring their parents out to the fall fair. and, organizers hope it will boost numbers at the gates for the 188th edition of the Quinte Ex which opens Thursday at noon. Sidney Street was closed yesterday morning just north of Bridge Street to allow set up to begin.
