The major office building, anchoring the south end of Belleville’s downtown, is up for sale. Century Place was originally built as a redevelopment project for the downtown in the late 70s. Businessman Ross McDougall, who has owned the building along with partners since 1980, says he recognizes the importance of the site. He says having owned it for thrity years they just want to see if someone else might be interested in it. The building houses government and small business offices as well as McDougall Insurance.
