On the eve of the new school year…there’s some good news for students in the Colborne area…they’re getting a new school. The Kawartha Pine Ridge Board approved the tender submitted by Tasis Contractors at 6.8 million dollars at last night’s meeting. The Pickering company will construct the new Castleton-South Cramahe school which is scheduled to open in time for the start of the 2010 school year. Board Chair Diane Lloyd says they’re very excited to create a modern first class learning facility in Cramahe Township.
