It’s back to the drawing board for Prince Edward Council on the issue of water-sewer connection charges on new homes. County Council unanimously agreed that it moved too quickly and without enough consultation when it passed regulations that would have seen an eventual 14 thousand dollars in charges levied on a new development. and, local builders told council it will slow them down and hurt the economy. Meetings with consultants and builders will begin in the Fall.
