Two Prince Edward County Cheese Factories have won big at the American Cheese Society Awards..
Black River Cheese and Fifth Town Artisan Cheese were awarded a first, second and third place ranking out of 1,327 entries from all over North America.
Fifth Town won first place in the Aged Goat Cheese Category, and second in Washed Rind Goat, and Black River’s Goat Cheddar captured third place in its category.
The competition was held earlier this month in Austin, Texas.
