Educators at Spring Valley Public School in Brighton should like the results of the a new C-D Howe Institute report on schools, but the same probably isn’t true at Brighton Public School.
The institute’s study on student’s performances in provincial grade six standardized testing, based on similar socio-economic backgrounds, put Spring Valley in the 93 percentile of its grouping.
Another high mark, 88, went to Murray Centennial Public School near Trenton.
However, Brighton Public was rated as in the fifth percentile in its grouping, and Stockdale Public School had a mark of ten.
