Arson may be the cause of a large hay fire in Deseronto.
Napanee O-P-P and Firefighters responded on Monday afternoon after 300 to 350 hay bales, worth nine-thousand dollars, caught on fire, and were destroyed.
The fire occured in a field on the east side of Fingland Road, and O-P-P Sergant Kristine Rae says there were unidentified vehicles in the area at the time.
The O-P-P Crime Unit considers the cause suspicous, and anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police.
