Paula Stephanson is going for it. Belleville’s lady of the lakes will attempt to complete a swim across Lake Michigan leaving from Rainbow Beach in Chicago on Friday at noon. If she completes the swim… Stephanson will be just the third person to swim across all 5 great lakes. It will take Stephanson about 24 hours to cross the lake… and get to her finish point… 35 miles from where she started.
