The slowdown in building activity continues in Prince Edward County.
Chief Building Official Gary Davis says 81 permits were issued last month for projects worth almost 3.9-million dollars.
There has been 26-and-a-half-million dollars worth of building activity so far this year, compared to 50.3-million after the first seven months of 2008.
Davis says, despite the lower figures, construction this year continues to meet expectations.
