Northumberland O-P-P are investigating breakins in Brighton and Campbellford.
A business on Cedardale Road, Brighton, was entered through a main floor window, and a safe containing five-thousand dollars in cash was taken.
The safe, with the money removed, was found down the road.
A house on Queen Street, Campbellford was broken into and the culprits stole Tylenol three pills and two boxes of morphine patches.
