A jet crash has rained on the “Change of Command Parade” set for CFB Trenton this afternoon. Quinte West fire officials confirm a small jet….possibly a T-33 or Tudor jet….crashed at the west end of the main runway in the noon-hour today. One person was taken to hospital with undetermined injuries. Base Public Affairs hasn’t commented on the crash which has resulted in the closure of RCAF Road. Officials are on hand at 8-Wing for the change of command ceremony as Colonel Mike Hood hands over control to Colonel Russ Williams. The parade was scheduled to start at 1:30 this afternoon.
