A Trenton music teacher is going to jail for sexually assaulting one of his 13-year old students. Today’s Intell reports the 28-year old man molested and had sexual intercourse with the young girl at his apartment several times last summer while supposedly providing music instruction. He pleaded guilty to sexual interference in the case and a number of other sex-related charges were withdrawn. The mother told court yesterday that “Rape is murder… the killing of the soul,” and she failed to protect the most precious thing in her life…her baby.” The Crown is asking for a sentence of close to two years….while the defence is asking for something closer to six months. Court was told the relationship only came to light when e-mails between the two surfaced on the family’s computer.
