There won’t be a federal election this summer….but, the Liberal Team in Prince Edward-Hastings is preparing for the next trip to the polls….whenever that might be. First time candidate Ken Cole finished second behind Conservative Daryl Kramp in last year’s Federal Election and says he’ll definitely seek the nomination again. Cole believes the next trip to the polls will be determined by the state of the country’s economy. Cole and his wife Elizabeth are expecting their second child in the next month and he says he’s thankful there wasn’t a summer election. The Liberal Association holds its Annual General Meeting this weekend in Prince Edward County.
