The Ministry of Health wants more family health teams in the two Local Health Integration Networks in the Quinte Area.
Ontario is calling for applications from community and physician groups in eight LHINs, including the South East and Central East networks, and will announce 19 new teams across the province this fall.
There are already several family health teams in the Quinte area, but as yet, one hasn’t been approved for Belleville.
