Love behind bars may have led to the escape of a convicted murderer at Frontenac Instituion earlier this month. It’s believed 35-year old Erin Danto, a psychologist working at the minimum-security Kingston prison, had a romantic relationship with 42-year old Andrew Wood and that she was involved with his escape plans from the beginning. Wood and Danto were arrested on a rural road north of Kingston last Thursday night. Danto is charged with numerous offences when she appears in court today including breach of trust and obstructing police. Wood appears in court tomorrow.
