The Relay for Life had good weather until the very end.
Matthew Del Grosso, coordinator of the Cancer Society all-night event, says they had clear skies from 7 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday, when the sky began to cloud over.
Del Grosso says the event drew thousands of participants, including 144 teams of ten, who together raised $380, 000 for the cause.
Del Grosso says half the money will be put toward cancer research and the other half will help local people in their fight with the disease.
