The Mayor of Quinte West is feeling hopeful afer a meeting with owners of two significant properties in downtown Trenton. Mayor John Williams says the owner, along with an architect, presented him with plans for a residential building in the former Trenton City Hall. Mayor Williams says he told the former city hall owners that there were at least 2 other parties interested in buying the building, also for residential uses. Meanwhile, the same group owns the former Mighty Dollar store in downtown Trenton, and say they’ll be sprucing up the building’s facade, but have no immediate plans to fill the vacancy.
